yes its that time of the month again where the member of the month is chosen. Now the big question again is who will be this months member of the month? commence speculations and/or ass kissing now!

haha yes indeed, but do members realy want a pro as member of the month? its like our time to shine as underground "tallentless" skiers so I wonder if people would mind a pro getting this honor?

haha yah I did but I was a blue before I won :P its true it is sometimes people who know people but sometimes it isnt, I think it should be more regular joes and less industry

I agree.

I am always disappointed in member of the month. I really feel it should be the time for an average member to have bragging rights for a month. This part of NS should be embraced more, and more thought should be put into who is chosen. The karma system was put in place to encourage positive contributions, and member of the month can do the same thing in a different way. I also think members should get their own say in who they feel should get the honor.

So I'm going to take this post to nominate no_steeze for bringing back the Photo Contest in M&A. He takes the time out of his own day every week to organize this contest for his fellow NSers. There has been a lot of participation (37 entries last week?) and a lot of creative minds get stimulated. It challenges the members to post something dope to get bragging rights for the week, and also getting to pick the next weeks topic. So each week, a new winner gets some say in the contest. So thanks no_steeze, its appreciated!

thanks its among my life goals for sure aside from getting 30k+ posts, becoming a mod and getting first on a news article though a couple of those I probably will never accomplish :(
