my buddy gave me some 06 pep fujas so i could learn to ski and eventually morph into skier. im not gonna lie. i dont kno shit about skis. are the fujas legit?
I'm assuming your talking about the fujatives, and if the edges and everything is still in tact then it should be a pretty fun little park ski, pretty flexxy and good for learning.
I have those skis. Lasted 2 seasons until the tail finally blew up. probably still ridable. I thrashed them, pounded them, and they held up great. destroyed the edges to the point where there were like 10 cracks, and the base was sepperating from the ski, but they were still worked well. Probably one of my favorite park skis I have ever had.
yea i would say a brand new fugative from birth to death is 3 FULL seasons. After that, it will be either break, bend, or just be fucked up to ski anymore.
Considering you got them for free, it might be a prudent investment to get that edge fixed, and get a shop to see what they can do with your base. If there is a chunk of edge missing then you might get much less than a season out of them.
