I wanted to set up something in my back yard where i can do some rails and such during the summertime. I was wondering what i should use for the run-up to the rail. I tried old carpet with water and shampoo but i was not able to get enough speed. Any suggestions about what kind of carpet to use, where i can get it, and what to put on the carpet for speed would be great. Also, is pvc piping the best thing to make rails and boxes out of, and if so, should I wax it or lubricate it in some manner? I thank you for your replies in advance.
