This is an 03 Kona Stinky Primo That I
purchased in the summer of 04. I am the original owner, I purchased
this bike from a bike shop in Southern VT for $3199. This bike was/is
the cream of the crop for freeride bikes back then. Burly, Burly,
Burly. I have put 4 seasons (season for me is about 15-20 days) of
riding on it, summers 04-07. The summer 08 I was out with a collarbone
injury, only took it for two rides at the end of the season. I just
purchased a new bike, and have not road this bike this season.

This
bike is in great shape, come see it to believe it. I worked as a
mechanic in a bike shop for roughly 5 years, and have kept this bike up
to code, rebuilt the suspension every year (last rebuild was oct 08 on
fork and shock) fresh disc pads every season (just put a new set in,
then decided to sell the bike, still no rides on pads.) Tires have
about 50% left on the front, and about 65% on the rear. It shifts crisp
as the day I purchased it. Chain is new late last season, gears don't
show any wear.
The only thing wrong with the bike is some skuffs
on the frame from shuttle runs, nothing that a little touch up paint
can't fix.
I also have a brand new MRP System 3 chainguide
with a partycrasher poly guard. It has a 38t evil chainring that is
also brand new. I will include that with the bike, so you can set it up
downhill style with a chainguide, or 22/32/bash for all around
freeride. Its a quick change to set it up either way, I could set it up
for you.
I'm looking for $1200 for the bike, its super clean and
has plenty of life left. I will include the MRP ($150 MSRP) and an evil
ring ($40 MSRP)
Call with any questions, or to take it for a
spin. I have to leave for a business trip on 6/15, if I don't cell the
bike by then I'm gonna pull it off the web and sell it in the fall.
