QUEENSBURY -- Dylan Mejo fell a homer shy of the cycle, driving in three runs, and Matt Behan doubled twice and drove in three runs as second-seeded Glens Falls beat No. 7 Bishop Maginn 12-9 on Saturday in the Class A Quarterfinals of the Section II Baseball Tournament.
It’s the first time since 1998 that the Indians have advanced out of the quarterfinals. They went to the Class BB finals that year.
Kyle Kelly had two hits, two RBIs and scored three runs. Sam Caruso singled twice and drove in two runs. Bryce Harrington added two hits for the Indians.
