An abortion doctor in Kansas was shot today...here's the story


It's unbelievable. I know everyone is entitled to their own opinions about religion, politics, etc. but to kill someone else because they are trying to help people?

I can understand the view point that women should choose not to use abortion as a form of birth control but some women need it for health purposes.

i couldnt even imagine sitting in church and then all of the sudden seeing someone get shot...

the killer must be an idiot, i mean if he is such a good religous man, shouldn't he have loved the doctor even more? cause the bible says love your enemies,

i was just talking about how people kinda ignore christian extremists when talking about religous extremists and only focus on Muslims and stuff.  this is just so fucked up, im gonna get shit for this but i think that guy should get the electric chair, what he did is so messed up on so many levels.  and if you dont beleave in the death penalty thats cool to (trying to be a respectful as i can lol)

I think pro life is almost a religion separate from christianity. Some pro lifers are more devoted to that cause than their faith. Although there are rational pro lifers there are many crazies like the guy in this instance.

its fucked up and doesnt help the pro life cause, like eric robert rudolf back in the day bombing abortion clinics.

There really arent that many extreme pro life people out there. Everyone talks about muslim extremists cause there are many of them. They have training camps to have goals of killing millions of americans and westerners. There are some hypocritical christians out there that are extreme, but they are few and far between. And they certainly dont represent christians, even the hardcore ones, same with the extremist muslims.

I am fully aware of that but they are not as prevalent in the global sphere of extremist religious groups, not at this day in age at least. But I do agree that muslim extremist activity is more demonized than the KKK's.

A rant i forgot.


First of all, remember the uproar when Obama warned of right wing domestic terrorism? THIS is what he was talking about. Events like this. And events like this are sparked from the incendiary, unfounded fear mongering by ultra right wing conservative nutcases like Limbaugh, and the fucks on Fox news calling the doctor "Tiller the Baby Killer". Painting him as a murderer for doing something that IS LEGAL right now.

On top of that, way to show class whoever that pro choice group was that managed to call him a murderer while claiming they arent responsible for his death. I dont care how much you disagree, show a little respect.

I can't agree more. This is the difference between fox news and MSNBC. They are both heavily biased, but fox creates an enviroment of pure hate towards groups of people, an environment that leads to murder. I saw on the news that the lead suspect for his murder alluded to this event in a thread about the "heroes at fox news" on a pro-life website. It is perfectly acceptable to promote legal action against abortion, but "Tiller the baby killer"! come on

the way he looks at at... he is taking one life that would have taken many other. in that sense he is pro-life.

no. if you kill somebody you are not pro-life. that's impossible. you might try to justify your actions by saying that the person you killed would have killed other people, but that doesn't mean you are not a killer.

Jack Bauer isn't pro-life, even though he saves millions of American lives every 6 months.
