but for serious, I saw it last night and was super stoked on it to begin with and it really was all that I wanted and more.
I really want a sequel to come out, but only if it has all of the same characters. That little Russian was my favourite.


Really awesome, I think it could become an epic franchise a la batman with the dark knight.

Time travel aspect was whack!

If they went back in time their planet wasn't destroyed yet, so they could've prevented it the second time around... right? Instead they kill the starfleet ship for no apparent reason and wait around for a couple decades for spock to show up? Come on now, you'd think they could figure it out or at least get over it after 20 plus years.

It had cool special effects though.

god DAMN that movie was so fucking ill
went to it opening night in imax, holy BALLS, but i was so high it all fucking melded into epic proportions
i had to go again, i couldnt remember any of the details but it was so FUCKING ILL
live long and prosper, but only bad thing, there were about 30 trekkies in front of us who were freakin out the whole time

but a dope ass movie. ive seen it twice already. i was especially impressed with the casting, everyone fit perfectly into their roles, and did a good job of remaking the original cast. especially bones, he had the mannerisms down and everything.

If it's done right, it's definitely something I'd like to see develop and grow. Much more so than The Fast and the Furious ... which has 4 (count them, one, two, three, FOUR) instalments.

Fair enough, surprisingly, I'm not retarded, but a little red in the face. Didn't think about that. I was thinking about the continuation of this line of movies, which I believe is slightly different than everything that has been created before.

If you've read the book I wouldn't. It has been seriously dumbed down for the masses, its always obvious what is going happen next and the amount of exposition is ridiculous.

i loved it. I think it's definetly better if you happen to know a little about star trek before going in. at least the characters, i think if you at least know that much it makes it a fantastic movie. the treky's im sure were upset about some hollywood changes and what not,but your average tv watcher and book reader from about 1978 to 1994 probably would get the most out of it
