Spoiled west skiers

ha west skiers dont know how good they have it. theyy get the pow, bigger mountains, ski later in the year, less crowded etc. east skiers might as well put on ice skates, theres lil mountains, huge lines, and season ends soooo early

roundtop ane whitetail are 100 miles from me (20 minutes north of DC) and massanutten is 140...
3 hours away versus a hour and a half.
liberty is even closer.

So move to where the snow is, you'll get an even better appreciation for it making all the years in the east or midwest. I love skiing with fellow east coaster here in the west, cuz we're soo stoked every single day we go out and powder days are downright euphoric. Not saying all west coasters dont have the same appreciation, but in general us east coasters have a higher stoke level, at least the ones i ride with.

I gotta agree with you man, evryone needs to stop takin' skiing for granted and just get out there and enjoy the fuck out of it for as long as the snow lasts and then go build something in your back yard.

No it sucks here, lift lines are like 6 hours... traffic takes 4 hours, there's never snow. I ski on pine needles it's so bad.

I hear all the snow is going to the east next year, everyone should go there!

I kinda like living in the East.  It makes me appreciate my time on the mountain and it's exciting whenever I get to ski.  Hell, I'm even pumped for summer skiing.  Of course I'd rather live out West, but whatever.

exactly!!! I hate when east coast people bitch about how they have it so bad. it fucking rained like half of febuary and march in wisconsin.my hill has three lifts and one tow rope and my park is 3 hits long and its a fucking ice rink. so quit whining and think how bad the midwest has it.

I don't really care about your original post but I do have my opinion. West coast kids are usually a lot more bitchy and spoiled than the east coast kids. It seems to me that a lot of the kids out here (Colorado) ski so that they can say that they ski park, not cuz they love skiing. East coasters seem to eat, sleep, and breathe the sport. The whole East Coast attitude is just way cooler in genral too. I only like to ski with a select few Coloradans that just like to have fun while skiing and don't worry about looking like a badass.

i get what you mean. riding at whistler was kinda lame because i was probably one of the worst park skiers there, and some of the local kids were hating on my style and shit. yeah, maybe if i lived in Whis and got to ski a park like that all the time i'd be great. i'm cool with kids being hot shit, but hating on others for not being hot shit is pretty lame, especially when you ought to know you've got the advantage. to sum it all up, the only friends i made at Whistler were boarders.

i live in the east with 4 small mountain within 30 minutes and can drive to killington, mount snow, stratton all ranging form 1.5 to 2.5 hours away
