Summer jibbin yo

I haven't been an active member of this cult, simply because I haven't ever built my own jib before. Summer is here, I had a short season, its summer session time. (and i need some help).

I went to the local Home Depot today, and pretty much checked out what I needed. I have it all figured out, except for the top sheet. I looked at PVC tubing, and i figure 4 tubes at 2inch diameter at 10 ft long each would work splendid. (and fits perfectly on a 2" x 8' x 10' top frame). Just curious if these will last, they only seemed about 1/8th inch thick and im scared that when me and my homies are throwing huge 630's on that we will straight up bust right through the plastic. (lol, but you get my point).

Thoughts. Sorry in advance if i broke some rules with this thread..

i use the same system with the same dimensions but with 5 pipes. its been a year and so far theres pretty much to damage except scratching to the pipes and weve been pretty hard on them

it sounds like your going to be making a box of sorts...In regards to the PVC..you should not have a problem with them breaking unless you come down 10 feet to flat on them. as long as its legitly setup and you 6 on to a down slope it shouldn't be an issue.
