Salomon Scarlets for the Momz

Does anybody know where I can get a pair of Salomon Scarlets for my mom? She needs the 154cm size and I can't find them in that size anywhere. Preferably last seasons' model or older since we can't afford to get this year's (unless they're used).

to be honest, unless your mom likes to rip switch, there isn't much point getting them for her since Salomon and other companies have lady specific skis that will performance much better all over the mountain. But, if you are set on getting them, keep an eye out on Ebay, I've seen lots of good end-of-season- and beginning of season deals on Scarlets.

I know what you're saying about the twin tips but she tried my Guns and loved them. She also has really bad knees so she needs a lightweight, forgiving ski. The foam core of the Scarlets would be perfect for that and they have virtually the same dimensions as the Guns. She already has a non-powder pair of skis and wants a pair of powder skis. Most companies that make woman's powder skis make them in only twin tips with the K2 Phat Luvs being the main exception. She has tried the Phat Luvs and did not like them as much since the Phat Luvs are relatively soft but not as soft and forgiving as my Guns (the Scarlets would be even more forgiving). I have tried the Phat Luvs myself for a few runs to help compare with her and I agree with her. Plus, the Phat Luvs were not nearly as responsive as my Guns. I do see where you're coming from though.
