I heard one annoucer say 'i dont know if you realize how hard it is to slide rails, imagine going to your park and jumping on a rail with oil all over your shoes' (not exact Quote)...what the hell does that mean..sliding rails doesnt feel anything like oil on your shoes.

123ski has a point. The announcers for the webcast were pretty bad. All kinds of icorrect trick calls, stupid poser comments and the ubiquitous 'pumping up' of the crowd, it was almost hard to watch...

Who cares how he spelt it ^. He made a great point. You guys do not know jonny and that was immature and stupid of the announcers to talk shit like that. You don't go winning the Olympics with no ski talent at all. I can see why he doesn't ski much anymore. Do you have any idea how bad bumps are for your knees?? I'm sick of this sell out talk.
As for the announcers, that one lady was a fucking idiot. I agree w/ whoever said they wanted to kick the screen if she said SPINNING TO WIN again. She said it on every rail and every jump. She had no idea what the hell she was talking about.

^i also hated the spinning to win. and 360 on the rail. they screwed up basically every trick in every run. If you go to the trick list, they call tanners cork 540 blunt, a 540 iron cross.

that shit was hella funny, they were clowning on the golden boy left and right, I just thought that mike douglas talked too much, what he said was pretty good, but all the rediculous names for the hits was pretty obnoxious. Money booter every three seconds and it was hella small: 45 feet??? that's pathetic. I think they should make superpark part of the xgames, every hit has to be over 75 feet and the money booter is 120. But they wouldn't be able to hold the event in the rockies because it doesn't snow enough, so they're fucked. They'd have to host the xgames at mammoth or something that actually gets dumped on, or at least more so than fuckin flat aspen.

they couldnt comprehend the fact that corked means the skier is angled backwards, and decided to say that every off axis spin was corked instead. they didnt even mention the word bio...meaning they had no idea what was going on.
also, every invert was a flatspin, and when they wanted to give tricks another name, they'd call it a nice 'off axis jump'.
and the lady announcer would cover up the fact that she didnt know anything by trying to pump up the crowd all the time. she should be cut from announcing forever.
