Im just thinking if this could ever or will happen. I know that the girls tricks are not up to par with the guys but because it is a video contest they dont really need to be. Their videos can and probably would be just as sick and creative as the guys just not have the crazy tech tricks. I know that the chances of it happening in the near future are probably pretty slim but i think it would be sick if there was a girls team and i think that it could push girls to be alot better. So im just wondering what everyone thinks about this?

he was saying give the girl a couple years to get her tricks down, that jump is pretty big and shes doing switch cork 9s and 10s. i think girls are stepping it up and JOSS should give them a shot.

the only way girls freeride is ever going to be developed is if it branches off from the guys, much like women's gymnastics, tennis, and to a certain extent how womens snowboarding is begining to. Right now most photo shoots consist of all guys and every now and then one girl.
It would be like if most of us went to a level one shoot, you would be riding with kids at such a higher level then you chances are you would either get to nervous to try anything or feel pressured try something your not prepared for and get broken off.
Girls need to develop their own scene i.e. own movies, shoots ,crews and stop constantly being compared the guy pros. Hell maybe girls will start coming up with shit guys have not thought of.
basically what im saying is LADIES GET MORE OF YOUR FRIENDS RIDING!!!!!

BTW this could never happen, the girls are just too far behind and right now clearly do not have the ability to hit jumps that big.
