cool.

if you went there for the superbowl that means you saw glorified version of Detroit because they want it to look better for visitors. they actually gather and collect hobos and then ship them to other areas so they don't bother people.

but honestly, i live 20 minutes outside downtown Detroit and can tell you as a fact it isn't much different than any other major city. I walk/drive through really bad parts of Detroit almost daily, one of my good friends lives in an apartment complex at an intersection that is considered the most dangerous place in the city. As long as you mind your own business, don't be super arrogant and flashy, then no one will bother you.

it wasn't that bad. i mean every city has bad parts...i'm just a puss when it comes to being downtown.
but right now all you read about is how detroit is going under so i think that's why most people can criticize it.

midwest: yes the version of detroit i saw was glorified, so i can't really judge.

Comerica/Cheli's/Hockeytown Cafe/Fox is a nice area. i rode my bike around the city when the Red Bull Air Race was in town, it was fun.  Speaking of which, is the Air Race coming back this year?

you dont know very much about ice hockey, do you? the only sloppy play i saw was by the pens in the third, because detroit was pressing hard and somehow managed to keep 3 guys on the puck carrier at all times. it was a very well-played game by both sides

Bull shit. I wasn't aware covering the puck with your hand in the crease suddenly became legal. That should've been a penalty shot.

Can't complain too much though because the wings did get two pp's in the 3rd and couldn't score, but the refs did miss several more.

wow, i knew it was coming. first off, scudari didnt cover the puck. you could clearly see that he hit it with his glove, and fleury covered it afterwards. keep in mind, a hand pass is legal in your defensive zone

second, dont give me that shit. the wings did the exact same thing (but actually covered it) in game one, and nothing was called

learn the game, and shut the fuck up.

Wow calling that a hand pass is kind of a stretch. Also scudari did have it covered and then fleury covered his glove over scudari's hand. And look i'm not saying the pens didn't get ripped in game one, I'm just saying the wings did here. So chill with the game one stuff because I never even said that was the right call.

that game was not well played.. but the pens always play like that, they\re one of the more sloppy, scrappy teams to watch. along with boston and some others. if detroit was in control it would have been a nice game to watch, but pittsburg just doesnt do that. it was really not a good game at all. scrappy, uncontrolled play.

that was a close call at the end i thought for sure a penalty shot was coming, but when they were showing replays the puck was kicked at the last second before he touched it then fleurry covered it that was nuts the whole team piled in crease haha...i hope game seven is good and not a blow out like game 5

although he may have tried he never actually touched the puck. it was kicked towards fluery so either way it wouldnt have been a goal. we got screwed in games 1 twice to hands on the puck in the crease that was bullshit.

He definitely touched at one point, the question is if it was long enough to be considered holding it down. Also I'm not saying that he would have necessarily stopped a goal. I'm saying, according to the rules the wings should have gotten a penalty shot. And I just said chill with the game one stuff, I am admitting you guys got robbed so let it go for like the third time, damn.

thats just how some teams play the game. if you watched both teams all season like i do you would know its not sloppy play, its just forcing teams into mistakes
