they ride as the same as ur hellbents that you had. you will be able to keep up
Im on the EC and have no problem with side booters and moving down the hill
I am 5'9" 150 lbs, type 3+ skier, I like to ski everywhere man im not necessarily a park rat, I used them for an entire week in all kinds of terrain. I found the ski to be very playfull, yes it is the softest rockered ski out there, and it helps it in the powder by allowing the tip or tail to flex up out of the snow. It chatters a lot, there's no doubt about that, but i have taken it to speeds of about 60mph, it carves on groomers fairly easty becase of the way the contact point was brought back a few cm. It plows through everything, it is the hummer for skiing. As far as the park goes, it is kind of hevy to get around, backseat landings are weird, i wheelied out once. On spins the most i've gotten was a 5 with some effort, Nose blocks, butters, hand drags, lazyboys, are super easy, It is stable on rails and boxes, just be careful on presses because the skis can slip out under you. But over all I had an awesome time, be warned it will change your skiing. I had a hard time getting back on my park skis, they felt like i was sking on twigs.
That was a really big exageration on my part, but they do really well in all kinds of terrain, having that waist makes it so easy to plow through crud and feel comfortable. I had a hard time adjusting to my everyday skis once i got off the EP's
i dont reccommend ep pros and elizabeths. unless ur purely a jibber. there both soft fat skis. if ur gonna lock in with ep pros, theyd pair up nicely with something a bit stiffer and around 95 underfoot for a bit more all mountain/ charging and park. maybe kung fujas? the rockered ones of next year seem dope
