seriously tho, its BS, itd would be like if he told every ski company that they could no longer make skis under 150cm because theyre dangerous. where would we get next generations skiers like tanner hall or jon olsson if you cant even start skiing til ur 15?

Again, asshole, paint an honest picture -- why does he want to ban the 50's?

 Because of lead content, if you want to make a case where you'll get the most support try being honest and see how it's a simple oversight on the behalf of law makers (who really wouldn't know much about 50s in the first place) not some aggressive agenda attacking recreation.

i can agree with this to a point.... but when he gets up and bitches about the deficit he was left. it makes blood shoot out of my eyes.... i dont even know the deficit he is running this year... but i believe it to be OVER a trillion.

that said, i agree it's stupid, and probably very easy to amend, but this is a very disingenuous attack. And while law makers need to give people the benefit of the doubt that they won't lick their dirt bike parts, we need to give the law makers the benefit of the doubt that they had good intentions on making the bill, and it just is founded on a misunderstanding.

its like i always say...  cause i personally didnt want to vote for either person either but i chose McCain cause i felt even though he would have been just like Bush his experience would have helped.  but anyways: "If you do not vote then you have absolutely NO right to bitch when the president does something you don't like."

im not trying to start anything but that is the fact of the matter.  yes you can bitch.  but ultimately if you voted then at least you have more of a right to complain rather than looking like a hypocrite.

there were more than 2 candidates to vote for. i personally voted for mccain but my sister hated palin and obama so she voted for the libertarian, even though the dude had no chance of winning she felt it was wrong not to vote

I just want to make this clear.

Since Obama has gotten in to office I have made bank in the stock market.

There have only been like 4 dozen stocks at any one time rallying 15% in one day.

G.W wasn't doing shit to re-assure the markets.

saying that not voting is unamerican is hypocritical.  we have the freedom to choose.  if someone chooses not to vote, thats just as american as choosing to vote.

i choose not to vote because i dont agree with our voting system.  I dont believe all peoples votes should count equally.  if you want my in depth reason(its not racist or sexist, it has to do with intelligence and motivation) ask, but i dont want to clutter my post with my full reason. 

I choose not to participate in elections because i dont believe it really affects my life.  perhaps when theres a candidate im passionate about i will vote. 

on the same hand, you will never see me bitch about a government issues, because i understand that i chose not to participate.

All of you guys who didn't vote should look into third parties... you have more to chose from than a turd sandwich and a giant douche. Third parties are what are needed to get this country on the right track again, don't write them off so quickly just because they can't win.
