in all seriousness, that is crazy that athletes are getting charges for incidentals which were supposed to be covered by the organizing body. the world is truly going to hell in a handbasket.

well at least the dow is back up to 8k now. there is some hope.

cause the article says... “We are really sad to hear that the riders haven’t been paid. This is news to us. Esurance was the title sponsor for the Icer Air event from 2005 through 2008 and fulfilled obligations and made all payments to Icer for those events, including the 2008 event.”

So they pulled out as a sponsor shortly before the event but still payed icer air the money? That hardly makes sense. I thought esurance pulling out was the reason the prize money was cut and the jump was changed into a hip~

I heard that alot of the pros did not get comp for their hotel rooms this year and they had to pay for them. HAHHAA so boot-legged

not in 2007 that was one of the better city comps ever to happen the jump was perfect mos def and talib played after, it was a dope ass event that needs to happen like it did in 07 again
