How to be a ski bum?

So I have to write a process analysis essay for my ap lang class and decided to go with the topic on how to be a ski bum. I have some general ideas but need some more creative ones. So if you guys have thought about how to be a ski bum, which im sure many of you have, or if you are a ski bum, I  need some ideas. Comedy within the process would be musch apprectiated along with illustartions. I'll ship some free stickers, beenies, etc.. for good the good ideas. For those who dont know what a process analysis is, its simply a step by step how to process. Thanks NS!!

Since the ski bum's primary concern is maximizing skiing time, he will avoid working whenever possible. Money must be strictly managed as a result of this job avoidance. Thus any activities undertaken for enjoyment beyond skiing must be free. Growing beards and working on ridiculous goggle tans thus become the ski bums primary forms of off-hill entertainment. Furthermore, since the ski bum suffers from a severe lack of funds while simultaneously enjoying a plethora of free time, he often engages in some sort of cottage industry, like making crocheted hats, that can then be traded for other goods. Trading goods, and in extreme cases labor, is the ski bum's primary mechanism for acquiring new gear, clothing, food and beverages.

I don't really know, but my only suggestion is to claim your unemployment benefits while you're skiing and maybe find a small job that pays under the table

Quit your job.
get a job working as a repair person or food server lift runner etc.
find a cheap apartment/condo/dorm in the mountain (or if your really intense pitch a tent)
Begin growing a beard.
Shower in Mountain Dew/Energy Drinks
Ski everyday til the lifts shut down.

1. Move to a ski town
2. grow a beard
3. Use your beard as a face mask in blizzard like conditions
4. Don't only ski the park ski POW.
5. Smoke dope
6. Don't buy flashy outerwear, keep the shity stuff with holes in it.
7. Have beat up skis you have skied for the past 4 seasons ATLEAST
8. Your way of making money is by simply teaching ski lessons at the resort one day a week but you still do a shity job at it and use it as your own ski time and mostly just make sure your student it still with you at the end of each run.
9. Live in your buddies apartment.

Me three :D Just can't wait to get out upper secondary high. Me and my friend thought to go to the Alps for the whole season: No stress and no responsibilitys will be the number UNO in the trip. Going where ever we want will be number 2 :D. ''' let's go to Chamonix for a month or so'' ''OK lets go there next week'' :D

you know, I think it's funny what you guys are saying. I can tell by what you guys are writing that you are not a ski bum. or you suck at being one, but i'll go with not. Well, almost all of you are probably still in school and have maybe never met a "ski bum"

Probably wouldn't know what one was if it was poaching your line right in front of you.
