Skiing is four times more popular than snowboarding. According to the Ski Club of Great Britain skiing is back in favour, partly due to the improvement in ski technology; parabolic skis are making learning to ski easier and ‘twin tip’ skis can be used for a new style of skiing called ‘freestyling’.
