JOSS - The real team Canada

So looking at the teams for JOSS, they come out as follows.

Team Sweden: Jon and someone else
Team Down Under: Russ Henshaw and Jossi
Team France: Candide and someone else (Laurent? Rolland?)
Team Norway: Andreas and PK
Team USA: The Dumont and T-Wall
Team America: Tanner and Sammy
Team Canada: TJ and Dorey

It immediately strikes me that there is no real team Canada... because that's not team Canada, it's team VERNON. Clearly a separate team is needed for the rest of Canada. So who should be on it? Chug? Riddle? Casabon? NS, think something up quick so that Jon can add a spot.

It would be ILL to see T-Wall and T-Hall on a team, I'm thinking the same thing.

Casabon and Ian Kenneth should be team canada. Isn't Schiller Canadian too? that would be ill.

Leave the Vernon boys out of it because they're already very well represented and have margetts and schuster and company as alternates.

I had considered a team QC, that would be easy to put together, but then there would be 3 teams from Canada.

Anyone backing the return of the Vanular?

why not just make it 4 people per country.

Team Canada: TJ, Cas, Houle, Rid

Team USA: Hall, Sam, Wall, Dumont

Team Oceana: Russ, Jossi, _______, _______

Team Sweden: Jon, Henrik etc...


That would be fuckin intense there could be like 15 teams. Since skiing isnt gonna be in the olympics jon should just organize an unofficial olympic slopestyle and halfpipe. fuck i'd watch it.

 Agree that Canada should have 2 team and probably some other country but if we just look at the Xgames 2 QC Canada were in 8 finalists and if JF did not get hurted there would be 3 QC out of 8
i think it's a good %.
But it's hard to organise and it would be arguable by others country.

I didn't; Jon Olsson did. The teams at the top are the actual teams for the JOSS. I think making 4 people per team might get a little bit much to deal with to put together an edit in such a short timeframe.

hmmmm it could just be like 6 people on each team and since there arent enough people at that caliber from just Norway or just sweden just  make it team scandinavia

Team Canada: TJ, Casabon, chug, houle, riddle, gagnier

Team USA: Hall, Wallisch, Sammy, West etc.

Team Scandinavia: PK, Jon, Harlaut etc.  that's already a scary team

Team Europe: Candide, Favre, Mik D,

Team Downunder: I'm sure  you could find 6 sick skiers from australia and new zealand

i think you guys are looking too far into this. so what if team canada is from one town? I don't know if you guys have noticed, but we've got a lot of land in this country. If you guys want a team canada on top of team vernon, well, why stop there? you could have team quebec, team ontario, team alberta, team bc, team whistler, team vernon... you get my point.

while you guys are bitching about teams, I would like to point out that andreas and pk will still beat any dream team you guys could come up with. Those are the best two competitive slope guys.

I don't really like the team thing. Why not just have anybody thats worthy ski in the comp instead of just a few.
