im making this as short as i possible can.

the reason we have all these crazy fucking people in the world is because as humans we no longer have survival of the fittest to kill off all of these crazy fucking people.

now im not saying we need cleansing of all undesirables, relax. im just stating what I THINK IN MY OPINION is the reason we have all thes crazy motherfuckers doing these crazy fucking things. not because of video games or more than your daily dose of Jack Bauer. fuck that. idk, im just mad, let me vent. discuss.

This is the  problem though, in North America there is way too much value on a human life.  Go to India and they slave 5 year olds to death like its nobodies buisness.  Come here and we're spoon feeding retarted people like it's our job.  Let's be honest, I know some really nice mentally handicapped people but in the end are they worth the resources, the money, or the time?  I think it would be a much better decision to kill them before birth or something like that (if there was a way to determine that they'll be retarted or not).  Survival of the fittest right?  They'd all die without us helping them over populate this earth more than it is anyways.

but society has progressed as well. you keep bringing up this marriage thing. but when that was happening, we were also enslaving, or practically enslaving africans. before that we were burning witches. women were even more inferior to men. society may be more restrictive in some ways, but its more free in others.

Dont overcomplicate this, its not a failure of natural selection. Its because there are more people on the planet right now than any other time in the history of mankind, that means more of every kind of people. The world population has doubled since 1989, before that it was in the 1700s and before that it was like 5000 years. There are now more murderers and rapists just like there are more skiers, white people, black people, dentists, bus drivers, and every other type of person in existence.

What we are basically saying here is that if everyone had full tilts, then the world would be a better place. true, i guess different societys have had their good and bad times, slavery being one of our bads, but there are also periods in the past that were much better than it is now. i wouldnt say we are in a bad time right now but we are close.
i guess you have to look at what parts of our society and other countries are doing right and follow that.

o and for the record almost all of my cousins on my moms side were adopted, were talking china, native american, its a big melting pot. and 2 of my cousins were deemed "special" by the Chinese government, and you know what, one does have issues in regards to mental functions, but the other one is one of the smartest 9yo's i know...

Do societies "goodwill" intentions dilute the aptitude of humanities gene pool? Completely.

Should we do any different? My sense of morals says no. Our species is fit enough.

Heres a point to chew over though - what will happen to our species when the technology arises that will allow parents to choose the characteristics and perhaps even fitness or mental capacity of their children?

from the way i read it, i think TC was saying that the government (AHEM hilary clinton) shouldnt blame GTA, Rammstein, and Platoon (tried to pick one thing from each major media thing that has ever been blamed) for the fucked up Ted Bundy types the world is getting.  i BELIEVE, that was the point they were trying to make.  not that we should kill mentally handicapped babies, physically deformed kids, or girls (like the chinese)
