***159cm park skis too short??***

I'm wanting to get center mounted freestyle skis but I can not decide whether to get 159cm or 169cm.
I spend basically most of my time at the terrain parks doing jumps, boxes, and rails.
I don't want to get skis that are too long.
If i was 170cm or 5' 7, would the 159cm skis be too short???

how much do you weigh? I'm about the same height but more near the 5-6 but i weigh 125 and i ride on 159 k2 public enemies and they are fine for me. I would say get the 169s because you are a little taller and im guessing you are prob avg weight for 5-7

I weigh about 154 pounds and my actual height is 165.5cm or 5 '4 but I'm probably going to grow to 170cm  or 5 '6.
I want these skis to last me a good amount of time and since i mostly spend my time at the parks I thought shorter was the way to go but then I wasn't too sure.

if you're going to continue growing, i would def go with the 169s. plus when you center mount, skis feel a bit shorter compared to mounting like -5 or somehting

Yeah deffinately get 169's, theyre good for using for like 2 or so years/

dude you need to be in the 170's.  I am 5"7 and ride 177.  Once you get use to the little extra length you will love the stable they are.

nope just been riding for a decade and cant stand riding little skiis.  Anyone who is over 5"6 should be on atleast 169 or bigger(unless its your urban beaters).  Thats just my 2 cents

169 to low 170's would be good.

if your gonna grow get long skis, when they are center mounted they feel much smaller.

i'm 5'9 140 and got 181cm skis -1cm back from center and they feel like a good length even though they are a couple inches above my head...i got them that height cuz i knew i would grow and next year they will be perfect.

You should have a go on some shorter skis. I was like you and always got a 181 length, I'm 5'11 and 175lbs for reference. Then last season when my skis broke I only coul get 176 skis. I figured they would be too small but in the park they were so much fun. Way easier to throw around and still just as stable.

So maybe try some smaller skis you may surprise yourself.
