jib switch ups

ok i used to be a hardcore roller, inline skates, and well kinda quit that last year (on skiboards) i could pull a triple i guess switch up ... frontside to backside to frontside to fakie... and only becasue the rail was not longer i didnt do another backside
well this year im getting used to the skis on the rails and have pulled just like a frontside to backside so yah all that said ive never really seen that many switchups on skis are they a notoriously hard move or just gay or what? and ohyah what abut fastslides... one footers?
just tell me if its sick or to go back to the jumps

skiers do switchups all the time...fastslides happen frequently too nowadays, from what ive seen.

Switchups and fastslides are what is needed more in skiing, there's not enough stuff for rails. Well, people are now doing tail and nose presses but they don't look too cool when people do them shittily, and until everyone can do them as nice as Mikael and that one Pollard did on the rainbow rail... they aren't that cool.

We need more rail innovation, IannickB, in my opinion, is leading in the switchups and all around rail skills though. All hail him.

i'm with steve, i am pretty new to skiing but from what ive seen it really needs some more rail stuff like switchups and inspins one footers
i'll get some pics soon and see what happens

ahhh yes fastslide and blindside switchups. learned both this year, as well as 270's on and almost switch 270's on, kids at my mtn are kinda bewilderded when me and some of the kids i ski with do this stuff, it kinda amazes them. one kid does pudslides too (fastslide but on your back foot instead), also makio's are a good time if you can do em, especially impressive on round rails

i wanna see a 360 switchup. it would be sick if it was done on a rail gap or something like it(2 rails with gap between)

Yea rail skiing needs some improvements. Of course the stuff kinks and all that with 270's an switch 270's and 450's is awesome, but you really only see most skiers landing these spins into a regular railslide. It would be real cool to see more 360 switch-ups (yes, i know liam downey does them...it would be cool if there were more of them) along with nose/tailslides and fastslides. Iannick has them down, but you don't see many other guys doing that either.
