so i switched schools when i moved over here into the Singapore American School. link if you want to see it: http://www.sas.edu.sg and i didnt have an awesome GPA to begin with, i had a 2.9 which with summer school i bumped up to a 3.1. now i moved from a hard school into an impossible school and so far after the first semester of my Junior year i am down to a 2.32 GPA. thats really bummed me out, because ive been working my ass off just trying to get these grades. i took some easier classes this semester but i dropped an AP and i am not taking any this year, just so i can pull my grades up. im worried that with that GPA and not having any APs that im gonna look bad and not get into the colleges im aiming for, you can say, yeah, shit wont matter in 5 years but living in Singapore kinda pisses me off cuz i got taken away from all my homies and i want to try and make it into a school where some of them are.
anyway, what does NS think? should i be this worried? should i become a workaholic and focus solely on school to get my grades up or will it really matter? i dunno, alot of this has to do with self confidence because it just feels horrible having your grades drop so much when youre putting effort into them.
thanks to anyone who gives me a minute of their time.
