Hey guys! 

Ok, so I know that some of you have been prank calling this Kevin Smith show lately.   I know he went and pulled a stunt like posting your numbers on air, and that was total bullshit.  

Now, everone is talking legal action, and personally I reeeeeeealy hate dealing with lawyers no matter who is right and who is wrong.   So what would be awesome is if you gys could just cut it off and let the prank go.    I know you're probably still angry about what has happened, but damage has been done and people are getting angry. 

Whether you think that we can be brought into this or not, the truth is that when lawyers want to be a pain in the ass, they can do it.   No matter what is right or wrong.   NS is a great ski site, and lets keep it to talking about skiing, no? 

So if you could, please, for me... even if just so that I can keep working on making this site better instead of dealing with this...

Stop pranking the Kevin Smith Show.

if thats really what he said that can be considered a threat he is implying he will post the numbers and his viewers will prank call them, should watch your mouth when you start shit like this cause that could be used against him

True that, i learned in my law class that a tv show dude puted someone's phone on tv and he got sued for like 5 grand back in like 1950 i think or something like that so yeah the one's who got their phone numbers posted could sue his ass off and make i'd say 20 grand out of that? they never agreed to let him put their phone number on air they just asked him a question about chad's gap, expecting to get an answer, not get their phone numbers posted.

shit if this spreads to other forums it could get bad if they say they're from NS...this guy sounds like a fuckup who has nothing better to do besides tell alien stories and harrass other people...seems like whoever pranked him got what they gave :P

Update on Prank Callers

The site editor where this phone attack was hatched has been in touch with me.  He seems quite professional, and was very apologetic.  He also took measures to remove all this stuff from his site.

It is just prior to show time, and I have been advised by my attorney's assistant that the site editor has published a request on his site for people to stop harassing the KSS.  Also reported to me was that while some of the replies to this posting were still defiant, most were very much in favor of stopping the prank calls. 

I do not suspect the calls will cease tonight.  I do know they will not get through to us due to the measures I have taken to stop them.  The caller information will be recorded and available to us, but the calls will not get through. 
Also, I would greatly appreciate a favor.  If any of our listeners have been calling the number of the prank caller from night before last, please cease.  This lowers us to the same level of anarchy and disregard for other people that these guys have shown toward us.  The guys mom is very understanding of our complaint and supportive of measures to halt the prank calls.

The site's editor did not know all this was going on.  Once he found out about it, he took measures to stop it.  Will these guys follow his request?  We'll see.  If so, then this is over and we can drop any plans for further steps.  I sincerely hope they do as he has requested.  We shall see.

Honestly guys get over it. If your number got posted, its a little bit of karma for prankin him. Its not like he and his friends are gonna sit around at night playin w/ their dicks and prank calling kids..?

You guys are dumb. Do not post here that Kevin Smith is an idiot. His lawyers are reading this thread. If he pursues the lawsuit, Bishop may be forced to take the website off the web, which would suck for all of us.
Also, Kevin is a professional. He loves something (hosting a radio show), just like we love skiing. We aren't better than other people just because we are good at skiing. Let this guy be. Don't mess with others because you think they are lame. Because it's even lamer harassing someone about how lame they are.

what cuz saying anything bad about someone on the internet is illegal now. Holly shit close down the whole internet then because people arnt exactly nice on the internet. I agree with letteing him do what he likes to do though ( even though I did the calling) everyone has done prank phone calls in their days or something similar, now that its done, we have had our laughs lets move on.
