So who here is going to enter this year?

i want to go to tremblants but i dont think im good enough, although i do have all season to improve and this does give me something to work for.

anyone else planning on competing?

cant wait, im training my ass off for the next month to see if i cant get a chance at a spot to mamoth,

i think i have a pretty slim chance though

I'm sorry man, but training? C'mon, this isn't the Olympics. Just ski as much as you can with friends (preferably older/better than you) and have them push you. That way, it's fun and you naturally progress.

Trust me, if you train you will get burnt out.

you go off with a pro in the morning who gives your group a clinic then in afternoon your group votes best skier to go to comp in afternoon and winner goes to mammoth

It's going to be a blast. Super laid back. Come and ski with a bunch of folks from Salomon. I'm STOKED to ski Seven Springs because I've never ski in PA before. As for Loon, that place is ALWAYS fun.

Hahaha, I wouldn't get too excited for Springs. Pennsylvania doesn't hold anything stokeworthy as far as terrain, but we make the best out of what we have to work with. Honestly, I think that gives people on the east a much better mindset than a lot of skiers out west. We don't take anything for granted and can have fun on anything. yea but by the time jib academy is there the parks will be sick an its not like anyone will be skiing anything else when they come

oh of course the park will be sick for the jib academy and everyone will be there when it's going on, i'm just saying it's nice to be able to do some skiing skiing sometimes too. there is skiing outside of the park too. not so much at seven springs, but everyone should be able to ski all mountain as well as park to be a well-rounded skier.

ya you print them off and its 60 people who get in and you need to register online to get in its not the first people to show up

print out the waivers, fill it out and hand it in that day, but register at the top of the page and you get a spot for sure

Not good enough, the best things I can do are big grabs and 3's off the tinyest of jumps, don't worry about that, its a once ina life time chance to chill with simon dumont, sammy carlson, mark abma, All the salomon greats!!!

I know what happened there, The grey guys brings his friends skiing all the time, he wanted to make a crew, he said, hey let all buy LDC, they followed thinking that they would be good like mr grey.  so now, poor mr grey who is actually decent gets shoveled because of his retarded friends in the audio backpacks,   they have a sick camera to,

if you are in the LDC crew at loon tell me were you got your camera, how much, and if it is as amazing as it looks

I think I'm gonna go to the one at 7 springs. I'd rather go to Loon cause they'll prolly have better jumps but I'm pretty limited when it comes to traveling.

i wasnt trying to imply that i would be doing serious training i just meant that i would be skiing a lot and trying new shit, thats all.

me and some of my other friends might go but i have to find a way to get there because my home mountain is sno mountain where they had it last year and it was sick but 7 springs is 5 hours away but it look like they have a WAAAAAAAAY sicker park than we do at sno
