Replying to Swollen Live

OK, my enthusiam for Swollen has definitely been decreasing for the past year so when i heard they were coming to Boulder, i didnt know if i wanted to go or not. I'm so fucking glad i did. shit, first of all, this is like their first time in the states other than LA, San Fran, Seattle, or maybe NYC, so i dont really know if they're live energy is less than it was a year ago but this was one of the most intense shows ive ever been to, i was right fucking up front. they didnt play too much new shit, Madchild had about six Heinies on stage, they opened with Anthrax Island- shit, i dont care how much different the new shit sounds, after last night, Battle Axe for life. fuck yeah.
