K2 obsethed mounting points!?!?

so i picked up my obsetheds yesterday and they feel sooo dope. but anyways i have a question about the mounting points. i measured and core center is dead center which is crazy. so m,y question is, i am 5'7 and 135 lbs, and should i mount dead center(core center) or +5 which is 2.5 cm back from center? i cant decide, i will be using these for deep pow, cliffs and some jumps. no rails most likely. some switch stuff but not a ton. the reason center is attractive to me is because with less ski in front of me i feel like i can throw em around better, but i dont wanna take away from my flotation. will the rocker on em be enough to avoid tip diving if i mount center? advice frpm people who have actually skiied them please.

true center on the obsethed is +12.5 core center is +7.5. what are you using them for and what size are they

Are you sure? A friend of mine recently got a pair of these and after measuring he said true center was basically at core center, according to the sidewall graph.

how long are they? If they are the 179 I would go for +5, if they are the 189 then I would mount them at corecenter so they'll ski a little shorter

nvm, I just read your height again and at 5'7 you def dont have the 189's, go for +5

well i have 189s and 12.5 is true and 7.5 is core. maybe its different on the 179s

im mounting mine at +5. will get back to you on how they are on the east, wont know how they handle the deep until mid feb.

yea i mounted +6, skiied them 2 days at baker and it was pretty unreal. best ski ive ridden all for pow and just everything. sooo maneuverable too i can flatland 3 them and im 5'7 130. loooove the ski, better than my hellbents.

Demo'd these the other day and they were mounted +5. Very nice ski. I felt like I could truck through anything.

I have the obSETHed in a 179, I mounted at them at the Recommended line which +3 of traditional. I am using these as my big mountain ski and will ski no park with it so any further forward I felt would not add any benefit. I read Seth rides them at +5 of Traditional (or +2 of recommended.)

i wouldn't mount them at true, it's not what the ski is meant for, go back like 2 cm's from true at least
