Yah, ok, i dont think ive ever been in this forum but can anybody vouch for the ARVs? and to start out, i dont want any thirteen year olds saying 'Ooh! ive seen those before!' i really like the flex and dimensions and overall size but some of the construction looks a little suspect. can anybody fill me in?

I LOVE THESE SKIS.

Ok, I haven't used them up on the hill yet, but I was hitting a little plastic pipe with my friends tonight, it was hella fun, and a jump off a drop at the golf course earlier today, and a kicker in my backyard.

ANYWAYS, these things are pimp, they're light, even with my heavy-ish touring bindings on them, they swing super nice. Like, my friend's set up something like a 5ft pipe just off the ground with a tiny 'jump' before it, and I was trying to 270 onto the pipe and the skis were so easy to spin with. And fakie landings are done with ease, I did a couple 180s off of our drop me made, despite the rock hard landing which was only grass after a couple minutes, the mounting position felt really nice compared to other skis.

And... the flex is siiiick, they're stiff when just normally riding them, but when you're doing nose/tail presses... or at least attempting them :P, they have a strong feeling, snappy flex to them.

All in all these skis are sick, I ride the 175s and I love them already, I can't wait to take them up the mountian (soon!)

i've taken a few runs on the 175 arv's before. they are an incredible ski. straight up skiing on ice and you have a problem but besides that they're awesome. you get in a little bit of powder and they ride like heaven. (a little bit of powder around here is like 4 inches) incredible stiff yet not too difficult to handle. don't seem too heavy either. my troublemakers in a 165 w/pivot jib bindings seemed just as heavy as a175 arv with look p9 bindings. tons of fun ski. armada really has made a great line of skis.

oh shit, you've got a rando set up on em? hows that working out? if they're that light i definitely need to get those cause im trying to get into the real bc more once i get my class one stuff done.
