metallica sucks now!!!! they were awesome back in the 80's but james voice sounds horrible now.
and lamb of god is ok, but there is WAY better metal out there...

I had a chance to see Metallica in Des Moines and Moline but missed both shows :(
But i am taking my girlfriend to go see Motley Crue febuary 11. So that should be a pretty sweet show.
Haha, I saw the Crue a few years ago, they put on a really good show for as old as they are. I can't decide if I liked the midgets, fire, or strippers dangling from the ceiling more.
But as far as metal shows go, I fucking love them. It's hard to find another type of show where people are as excited about the music and general scene, and that is one of the main reasons I go. The other would obviously be to see kick ass bands. The last concert I went to was Three, BTBAM, and then Opeth headlining. I drove six hours to see that one and would do it again in a heartbeat; Opeth is just all that is awesome.
