Titus69Nice, theres one in the works in Tamworth NH I believe that looks awesome with some great views of northern NH. The bad part is its a "country club" so Im pretty sure its gonna be very expensive. Right now its basically a rally stage, which Id be fine with.

Looks fun as fuck! It looks like it'll be ready next spring paved and all. Now I have a reason to cut vents in the hood and rip the back seats out haha.
Titus69Good to hear, I drove past on my way to forest rally in July and the progress looked good! Its not in a busy area but theres stuff around it. Id totally go there when I get a "cool" car
WordupVTI just hope it's not going to be rediculously expensive to go for a day. Could organize and NS track day ahahaha. Everyone in the area with a decent whip has to be there.

Titus69I heard it is but I'm not sure. I feel like its for rich guys with gt3s and track built exotics
WordupVTFack. Hopefully there will be a season pass option type deal, I'd spend a lot of time there on weekends.
Titus69I'd go occasionally but if I'm going up north I'm going on dirt roads in the middle of the woods. Not a big track but still looks fun as hell
WordupVTWell over here in vt we got plenty of dirt roads in the middle of the woods ahah, in fact I live off of one. Just makes my car dirty and muddy. Only fun thing is I can break all 4 tires loose 1st through 3rd gear no problem for a little drift action.
saskskierSold the 4runner on Sunday and picked this up same day. I absolutely love it so far. Runs great, has awesome fuel economy (40mpg is a nice change from 12-13) and is super comfortable. Next step is a rack.
Titus69Nice beemer, just do us a favor and live above the stereotype and use the turn signals
saskskierHa ha. People who don't signal are the worst.
Titus69Witness way to many a day, even funnier when I dont see cops do it.

BenWhitKeep an eye on your AFR's & fuel pressure psi. BMW's are notoriously finicky with the HPFP.
saskskierFrom what I've read, the HPFP issues are pretty much only a a problem with the turbo'd engine in the 335i. From what I understand, it sounds like the big things to watch out for in the n/a engine are the water pump/thermostat and the ignition coils. I'm sure there will be other things (it IS a BMW after all...). Ha ha.
BenWhitwasn't there a model-year where they coated every wire in the car black? so only BMW tech's could work on them.
but, what do I know, I'm a Mazda guy
Mattsaffhere are my saabs...hardtop is a mint 92 turbo 5spd and the convertible is an 89 turbo 5spd, little bit of rust but nonetheless a sweet summer cruiser
taj.So jelly..some day I will own another c900, and this time it will be an SPG with super aeros like yours

saskskierOh probably. That definitely sounds BMWish. Ha ha. I know they've got some stupid things like if you need to replace the battery, you need to bring it in so all the coding can be reset (unless I pick up a coder).
ianrich511If you ever notice it takes a long time to start, it is your fuel pressure regulator in your tank(200 dollar fix DIY)
This is true.
water pump is electric, and will go out around 75K, MSRP of pump is 600, had mine replaced for 1100 with labor.
Not true. I pulled my battery out no problem and put in an interstate battery.
Got mine at 60K, now at 90K. Its what I like to call the maintenance window lol.
Chubz.so in a few weeks i'll have enough mula to buy a car. And i've narrowed it down to these two for the most part.
2005 subaru outback 2.5 xt. Has 105k on it and is around 5700, it's manual
Then we have a 2008 subaru outback 2.5xt limited, has just under 90k on it, it's loaded, leather seats and all and is about 8500. it's an automatic.
help me choose pls?
Titus69Id say manual just for the fun of it, plus I feel like both are as good as eachother and youll save a couple grand to do fun stuff to it. I love the look of that outback too.
Chubz.Yeah seems to make the most sense doesn't it..haha.
Hopefully that thing will be mine in the coming weeks.

iFlipDo you fully understand the issues that come with buying an 11 year old Subaru? I sincerely hope you are budgeting an amount equal to the asking price of the car for repairs within the first full year of ownership. I would personally stay away from both of those unless your father owns a repair shop.

taj.I usually agree with your posts, but your generalizations and little knowledge of cars is hilarious. He mentioned nothing of his mechanical skills and intentions of repairing problems himself, and any real details of each car. So you're just being a pessimistic piece of shit.
Maybe I'm just being trolled, who knows.

iFlipActually, in this instance I do have some idea what I'm talking about. Family has owned several Outbacks from new to past 100,000. The repairs necessary once they hit the 100,000 mark were ridiculous, and any Subaru repairs are 2-5 times what they are on a Nissan or Ford. Subarus are also difficult to repair oneself, and even basic mechanics can have difficulties.
They are great ski cars, and great cars all-around. I loved taking them on roadtrips and sleeping in them. However, with the price of new Outbacks having climbed significantly, I shy away from them now. Also, for whatever reason, Subaru does not seem to know how to make a clutch. I've driven manual my entire life, and out of the 4-5 Subarus my family has owned, all but one of them has shifted like absolute shit. This includes the brand new one the family just got.

1337Hell yeah man! Definitely going to follow this!
humptyim saving for a fxt or wrx. Right now i have an outback (ej251) almost at 200k still running strong.

BenWhitI love the WRX/STI. I always have and likely always will. That said, I can't remember the last time I went for a drive and didn't see at least one WRX. Even if it's just a five minute drive, I see one. There is something to be said for driving a car that when people see it (or, even better, hear it!) and have no idea what it is.
saskskierDefinitely something to be said about having something unique. My brother has a slammed 62' Beetle and he could pull up next to a Ferrari or a Lambo and he'd get more looks.
Titus69Probably because everyones saying "look, that kid ruined a classic car"
