Replying to Rediculously BAD Luck
Alright so today was my first day skiing this season at my home mountain Sunday River. I went to the season pass desk to pass in my staff season pass form and get my pass. When I gave it to the lady behind the desk she gives it back to me and says its too busy for me to get a pass, and to come back around noon when it's not as busy, which I understand because customers before staff. So I ask for a voucher and she looks at me for a second like i have two heads, and in a polite way I say, "I drove about 45 minutes to get here, I just don't want to sit around for an hour" (This was at around 8:30AM). So she prints out a ticket and gives it to me and tells me to come back at noon and I should have no trouble. I get out of the way of people and put my ticket on right away. I made sure the hook they gave me was secure and I was on my way. So I go out for a run before meeting my friends to get my sea legs back. i fell a few times, but didn't think anything of it cause it happens on the first day back on skis for the season. So I end up meeting them as I'm coming down from my first run, and we get in the lift line. When the lift guy asks if I have my ticket, I reach down only to find the red hook that was supposed to be holding the RUGGED ASS Sunday River ticket that I had received no less than 20 mins ago. The guy says he'll let me up and lets me know that I need to take the stub in and get a replacement. As soon as I get back to the lodge where I got the ticket I hand in my stub and tell the older gentleman behind the ticket counter. He starts giving me shit about how the ticket shouldn't have fallen off after one run. I tell him over and over that "I work here and they wouln't process my pass this morning because it was too busy." Finally the guy next to him calls me over and says he'll print one out, which he does. Just as the first time I make sure that the ticket is secure. So I ski for a while then call it a day. When I'm packing my things I realise that my ticket is gone AGAIN. Everyone that skis Sunday River/Loon/Sugarloaf knows how rugged their tickets are. Surprised as fuck but not worring about it, I go back down with my staff pass form to the season pass desk. She takes my paper work then asks me if I have the ticket that I had gotten from her earlier. I tell her the story of how both my tickets came off the little red ticket hook that they issue everyone that purchases a ticket. Again she looks at me like I'm an idot, and asks me to hold on for a second. Then she comes back with the HR manager and he tells me how I CANT get my pass until I find and bring back BOTH of the tickets I was issued. I then tell him the story and how I DO ski the park and I've never had this kind of problem with my tickets. By now, I'm starting to get a little aggravated, but I'm keeping my cool. So I walked around out side looking to see if one fell off in the lift line and I end up talking to the liftie about what has happened, he said that if I had the stubs that shouldn't matter. I bring back the one stub I had because the guy that got me the second ticket took the other one. I personally pull aside the HR manager and once again try to explain my situation, and once again he seems to have no sympathy for me. Then he tells me if I don't find the two tickets then It doesn't look too good for me. I give him the ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME look and just peace out. I've been pissed off all day and have no clue what to do. I'm broke I can't buy a pass, I just don't know what else I can do. I'm going to call my boss tomorrow and explain to her what happened, but they might try to tell her that I was giving away my tickets or something rediculous.
What should I do?
