So, I picked a pair of these up recently off a friend, because I'd heard a million good things about them. I later realized that I probably don't need a 6-16 DIN binding, and that a lower range one would have worked fine. I have PX 12s on my park skis right now, and the DIN is at 6 (though it was wayy too low and I was prereleasing all over the place), so I'd probably be fine with my DIN at 8ish, which a lower range binding would easily cover.
Wondering if these are still going to be a good binding for me, or if I kinda messed up in my choice. Is the jester going to have a lot of extra, unneccesary weight? And is it going to perform well enough at a lower DIN?
