It seems like a good amount of people on this site have. I don't want this to turn into a battle of why or why you shouldn't do it. oh and if you haven't how old are you?

Not to rain on your parade but you probably go to a shitty school if that is the case. There is no way you can smoke weed 3 times a day and get a 4.0 if you actually go to a legit college

Ohhh an also everyone who is bitching about cancer and it being bad for your lungs all you have to do is make edibles or vape. Although smoking is fun in its own right.

Mary jane is an amazing drug. When your sitting in a sick, chill spot, on top of a hill, lighting up a beautiful bowl with a magnifying glass, 20*C weather, and a nice light breaze, chilling with 4 of your best friends, tell me how nice it feels. Absoluty the most chill you could ever be. Talking about whatever the fuck you want. It probobly keeps me out of trouble more then anything.

but, if you smoke enough you will notice how lazy and inefficient you become. maybe not 'stupid', but it feels like your brain slows down.

i agree that the kid couldd have a 4.0 smoking that much, but it does slow you down

i have friends who used to be really outgoing and fun to be around , they started smoking , it killed all their ambition, they no longer care about school, they look forward to 420 more than christmas. i'm. its SO bad for you , and its a common misconception that its not that bad , which compared to harder drugs is 100% true , but it still kills ambition , and brain cells( not alot) it CAN cause cancers and other problems down the road. just google it and find a non biased source- for all you nsers who dont know what bias is - go to a site with info on weed not written by stoners, or anti - marajauna people. i have nothing against people who smoke , as i am still good friends with most of my stoner buddies. i can proudly say even though im still young i'm never , ever going to smoke weed. ( or ciggarretets cuz theyre worse than weed).

well , my PDR teacher said so in grade 7... lol i don't know. All i know is that i'm never smoking. i am not saying my teahcer was right which he probably wasnt beacuse he was stupid as fuck. but it can cause serious damage to your memmory (brain cells)

I heard joe rogan dispute this argument perfectly, you mean your friends the fucking losers? pot didnt do that, if it wasnt pot it could of been fast food, losers are losers.

Not a single reported case of death in HUMAN HISTORY. its being prescribed as medicine in many states.

the study that said this came out to be a shit study were they suffocated animals. Also, it has since been found to stimulate braincell growth.

how about you stop listening to DARE and other GOVERNMENT agencies who's main budget goes towards fighting this great medicine. When marijuana is legalized they will be out of work.

Wrong!

Searched for academic papers using keywords marijuana and cancer and this was the first (of many) papers to come up:

Associations Between Duration of Illicit Drug Use and Health Conditions: Results from the 2005-2007 National Surveys on Drug Use and Health

from Annals of Epidemiology Volume 20, Issue 4, April 2010, Pages 289-297

And in the opening section you got this: "the results of 20 multivariate logistic regression models indicated positive associations between duration of marijuana use and anxiety, depression, sexually transmitted disease (STD), bronchitis, and lung cancer"

I'm not saying that weed is really dangerous or anything (alchohol and cigarettes are probably as bad if not worse) but there is a lot of BS out there (both for and against) and it doesn't hurt to do a bit of research rather than just believing what you've heard from your mates, TV or whatever.

I've done it a few times and never enjoyed it but each to their own. I'll be at the bar.

ok first of all , my friends who i have menitiioned could be easliy classified as losers. i agree it could have been anything . and people have died from weed ( not directly) ex 1. some one gets in car and drives high - your more dangerous high than drunk. kills someone or themselves on the road . its happened in my city. ex. 2 there is a cliff behind my house in the park where stoners get high - high people have fallen off that cliff and died. there are weed realted deaths and stuff. your argument is completly valid.  there are facts i fucked up on. and i know that weed is prescribed to people and cancer patients and stuff. i know that. im just saying you can die stupidly ae falling off a cliff or , in some cases get on harder drugs which people have died from. and i know its close to being decrimnalized , the only arguement the gov. has left is how dangerous people are when they are high , i know. and btw, ive never been to a dare meeting nor have i paid attention to the goverment in this matter. for me its preferential

The authors attributed that bit to being behavioural (i.e. forgetting to wear a condom).

I'm pretty certain that alcohol is much worse than weed when it comes to this though.

i personally dont agree with this statement, however i agree that if you're gonna drive, be sober when you do it.
