i'm not defensive over whether or not people think i'm credible, which is what i think you're basically saying.
i become upset when kids post information about substances that are potentially dangerous that is false information. take your first post in this thread for example. these substances can be lethal and if you don't really know what you're talking about, keep your opinion, which is often stated as a matter of fact, to yourself. do some research (erowid, talk to doctors who are going to be honest with you, books, etc), gain a good deal of first-hand experience, and then give your opinion on the matter. our society has been brainwashed to think drugs are bad and there is really no legitimate form of education regarding illicit substances, so the vast majority of what kids "know" is actually hearsay that is often bullshit. i've found my younger brother passed out on our kitchen floor, overdosing TWICE thanks to information about doses that he's been given by his "friends". i'm no doctor, but i've done enough stuff that i feel i have a good enough knowledge of the substances i've put into my body to responsibly give advice to people with questions- 99 times out of 100 i'll tell people to take less than i actually think they should as i'd rather people got a safe feel for the drugs they're using before they begin to experiment with the various highs drugs can give you in different doses.
i'm far more concerned with stopping people from posting incorrect information regarding potentially deadly substances than whether or not you think i'm "hardcore" or whatever because of how much i know about drugs.
