well me and my friend are gonna go to a concert and I suggested that we record it on his minidisc player. He wouldn;t though because he was worried about getting cought and stuff. what is the deal, will we get cought if we record a live show, is it ilegal? (it is Anti-Flag so I don;t think that they will care at all but he still says that there are people that would sue us...)

I think it is illegial, without a liscence but you probably wouldn't get like hauled off to jail if you got caught. Except i'd think it would make the concert much less enjoyable if you had to stand there holding a mini disc player the whole time, and the sound can't be that great.

first off what band is it. The most that would happen would be that the venue would find it and take it away so if you are going to take it you have to have it hidden, people stealth tape shows all of the time. A lot of band now a days allow taping like dmb, phish and tons of others. But if they catch you the most they will do is take the mini disk away
