Upload your videos to NS!

Hey all!
I know I'm posting this in the wrong forum, but we need you to help!
To fully test the new video section, we need you to upload videos directly to the site. No posting youtube embed videos, because that helps nobody but youtube!
SO give it a try... take some of your vids hosted on Youtube and post them directly to NS!
Everyone just quickly upload one or two, and we'll really get to put this thing through the paces...
I'm begging!!!

yeah but at the same time.. how many times have you and your buddies passed each other links? if we pass along links to our friends, skiers or not, then they will be directed to the ns website and chances are after they watch the video, they'll kick around and check shit out.

but there is no related videos section at the end, all videos run slow on my computer (my computer is slow but youtube works decent atleast) and worst of all we can't argue with eachother in the comments like on youtube. we need skitube bad.

We're trying to create skitube... thats the exact idea here, but people need to upload their videos here instead of youtube. :)
We have the ability to put the related videos at the end, just isn't ready yet. We need more people to upload videos so we can make sure the system is to everyone's liking. :)

the new version in beta right now would work soooooo much better if they're all directly uploaded to the site. good post. but, you might have to change the size limit, i dunno what its at right now but with people's crazy hd cameras n lengthy edits, its gonna be a lot of space...

Size limit has been upped to 100mb... do you think thats enough? if not we can try creeping it upwards, we put a lot of infrastructure into this thing to handle the mass of uploads we hope to give it. :)
Bottom line, we want all ski videos in the world to be uploaded to NS. Just have to figure out what will convince you guys to do that. :)

Lol yeah things have come a long way since those days!
Now we can actually afford a proper server setup to handle things like this. :)
