Instrumental and vocals?

yo me and my friend are trying to make some mashups but we were wondering if there was a way to get just the vocals off songs and just the instrumentals. ive searched but havn't found quite what we're looking for so could someone help us out here?

ive had this problem too and i think it can be best handled by sony acid pro, which is really expensive. you can reduce the vocals on itunes and stuff, but you are better off downloading the instrumentals, like the carter 3 instrumental pack, and then some acapellas from various artists and mashing the beats
post them when you are done i love girl talk and shit

the best place for acapellas(vocals only) that i know of is http://acapellas4u.co.uk/
they have a monthly download limit and a trial period where you cant download songs, but they have a huge library

acapellas are usually hard to find, but if you search for instrumentals in frostwire, a shitload of them come up.

im using jamglue for now until i varify my email and i made a little mix of white girl and tell me when to go. don't hate i did it in 5 minutes. oh yeah and audicity is awesome

honestly man.....you can find a ton of instrumentals and accapellas from mainstream rap songs by just searching those terms on lime wire

yeah that works for me sometimes but jamglue has moer to choose from and its quicker i think.
