Replying to Want rocker, want Fat, do I want reverse sidecut too?
Aight so I already have Anthems w/ Mojo 15's for park and groomers and whatnot
and Bacons w/Jesters for pow and all around just cause they are fun and versatile.
So I would like to get a fat rockered ski because I'm going to Western and I'll be skiing Baker this year mostly.
So the ski on the top of my list is the Donner Party, because it just looks ill, not in terms of graphics, but they are sick too.
Anyway I can probably get Bents, EP Pros, or ARG's, and possibly chopsticks at my shop for close to proform but I kind of want to try Moment as a company and cause they are really fat and look like they would slay powder.
I'm new to rockered skis and reverse sidecut skis so I'm not sure what to get.
So far my options are:
Donner Party
ARG's
Bents
EP's
Chopsticks
Anything else?
These skis will be used for powder only so I don't care if they suck on groomers. I'll probably mount them with Mojo 15's or Jesters, or maybe STH's. I dunno yet, it doesn't matte rtoo much though. I want to be able to ski open steep faces with them, but still have them reasonably soft in case I want to fuck around in the slackcountry ow whatever. Probably going to be using them on Booters and cliffs, nothing over 30 feet though....if that haha. They don't need to be great in trees I guess because my Bacons are good for that. I'll probably do a little bit of switch skiing with them to lean how to ski switch pow but
I'm not sure what one of these skis will compliment my quiver the best? I already have everything covered technically but I want to try a rockered ski and/or reverse sidecut.
I'm 5'9 150 lbs. and ski very aggressively, my boots are Full Tilt Konflicts, but I doubt that makes any difference.
Thanks in advance guys.
