Using "Enter" for spacing when replying

When replying to a thread, if I press enter, the pipe/vertical bar/ whatever you wanna call it, doesnt automatically go to the next line. To do this, i have to press enter then click then enter then click etc etc etc until i have the amount of space i want. Is this just me or are other people having this problem? i'm on firefox by the way

mine gets screwy after i make a link, it types the rest of the message as part of the link

i used to have an issue something like that when i used the fancy editor
i just stik with the plain one now. so much easier n faster

Firefox with the plain text entry.
I never used the fancy editor because it caused nothing but issues for me.

fancy was badass though, i could hyperlink and just drag pics onto here.
