ha dude this is like ur 10th thread on the subject.
First off, there is a ton of info on this stuff in various threads, read around.
2nd, I don't believe the Ar6 is changin whatsoever next year. (As for the breaking I have no idea what thats about but could it possibly be because they arent being manufactured quite like they will be come Fall. Im prolly wrong).
If ur a reasonably good skier and prefer a somewhat stiff ski (I dont know how good or big u are) the Ar6 is very reliable.
I mean its not a pow floater but u dont sound like ur a pow skier either. It handles exceptionally all mountain as long as its not too deep (stable at high speeds in junk and crud, great in bumps and trees and holds on ice very well)
As for the chronic, havent skied it, but I only hear good things about it. Not as fat in the tip but sounds pretty similar to the Ar6, im not sure if its stiffer tho.
Skis are expensive, do a little more hw. Searchbar it.

it's supposed to be the same flex and all, just a different construction. something about the wood core and how they put it together. idk about the skis breaking (didn't sound like a very credible source). but whatever they changed, i trust armada not to dick it up this year.

Thanks guys, ya i realize i did a bunch of threads... idk w.e.
i do love to ski pow but i only go out west for around 20 something days a year and usually don't get to ski that much pow but i have gotten lucky... i am pretty good in the park and can basically ski anything on the mountain with ease. i don't want to completely focus on park or focus on big mountain cuz i love both and i like to keep my options open.

I think they 09 Ar6 is the best ski ever created, if you do 75% Park and 25% all-mountain, but if you were looking for a park only ski i would go with the atomic punx

I have some 09 Chronics, although I haven't ridden them yet. I was tied on exactly the same choice but in the end it came down to the fact that I have some 2yr old 07 AR6s and last year was very happy on my Invaders so stuck with Line really. + the graphics on the chronics are awesome!

AR6's ftw. Bomber skis for everything.
All times are Eastern (-5)
