so today, my sister decided she wanted some pastels out of my room and so she was looking through my drawers and managed to find my scale my pocket scale and some catnip.

so i confronted my mom thinking she took my shit and i was like wtf why were you going through my room im not retarted you know

She: WHY DID YOU HAVE SCALES THE ONLY THING SCALES ARE USED FOR IS POT

me: I DONT GIVE A SHIT

her: a bunch of bullshit
(btw these scales aren't even mine so keep that in mind)

me: the scales aren't even mine they're my friends can i have them back

mom: which friends

me : im not telling you LOL

mom: GET OUT OF MY ROOM IM STUDYING FOR EXAMS


what do i do, my counsellor told them i smoke weed (faggot) then i said i didn't but i don't think my dad believed me and now my moms getting all pissed cause im telling the truth

so im thinking about getting a bunch of shit together a bunch of facts and writing them down on some paper leaving it for them and then going to my friends houses' for the weekend and say i'll come back when you've accepted my choices

there's my idea give me some of yours?

^   I dunno, you tell me. But the point is, weed isn't that big of a deal compared to other drugs. I don't know what your parents are like, but how would your dad react to you smoking weed? If he won't mind much, I guess you could tell him you blaze occasionally. Let him know that it's nothing compared to hallucinogens and shit. Or cocaine/meth. Or you could fuck off until they agree to your demands (which are... what? have them allow you blaze in the house? lol)

writing an essay will do nothing to change your parent's perspective because they HAVE SMOKED WEED BEFORE.  They just don't want their son doing something illegal and getting in trouble or turning into a burnout who sucks at school (argue all you want it does happen).  Yeah but you're past phase one(lol), they know now, but really all you can do is just not get caught, i've been caught four times now and each time it's gotten a little worse, but i think the next time will either never happen, or they will be better with it.  But for you umm...just wait it out

my parents have nevvvvver smoked weed they're SO SQUARE so that doesn't help

also i'm not even close to being a stoner guys i smoke on occasion like if i don't have rugby that week or something i do it around sports so that it doesn't affect how i play and everything

School counselors have the right to tell parents anything that they feel is going on in a kids life that is detrimental to his mental or physical health...aka suicide thoughts, depression, heavy drinking, smoking pot, doing other drugs, cutting. All that shit is within a school counselors right to tell parents about for "the safety of the child."

What you should really do is tell your parents all of the upsides to smoking dat green goodness compared to drinking.  Tell them how much safer it is and all that, then they will get focused on the fact that you're not drinking, and that will make them happy. Don't fight them into changing their beliefs on pot. They're probably basing their opinion on the kind of child you are. If you get in trouble a lot, do bad in school, etc., they will only think that weed is feeding the fire.

Your approach is all wrong.  And if you think they've never smoked pot before...hahahaha! They got you good. Just remember one thing: parents aren't stupid. And they know everything.

i once got a phone call asking for bud and my dad heard but i just talked to him about it and gave him the facts, he knows i'm a good kid and do good in school so he just told me not to do it anymore and that it's fine to try or even do on occasion but never in excess...which i agree with.

he then told me about all of his "experiences" and he never told my mom cause she is a fucking hypocrite and you can't hold an intelligent conversation with her since her head is so far up her ass about how she is 50 and knows all. but that's a completely different story...

first of all, you wont go to jail unless u grow it or ur carrying lots of it. i think in canada its legal to carry like 5 grams or something. and ur putting time and money because its a good time. you talk with ur friends and have fun. why do people buy alcohol or even food when they hangout? because its always makes it a good time.

yo if you knew anything it would be to either not get caught (some people can do it) or do what i did, get caught multiple times, realize that acting like a child gets you treated like a child, sober up and quit being a dumbass. swear to god best thing i've ever done, my grades are better, my parents are letting me have more freedom and i will eventually be driving a car. yo, you're best bet is to just grow the fuck up, realize you can't have the dream life of your friend's whos parents don't realize how bad smoking weed is everyday, and be smart about smoking weed when you do. i'm not saying dont ever spark but just realize by the time your 16 you gotta be responsible and all that gay shit so just get used to it, its not all that bad.

marijuana is fun if you enhance an experience with it. the drug cannot be overdosed on, and because it is directly smoking a plant, it can hardly be called a drug. The illegality of the substance is caused by the control freaks at the top who don't recognize peoples freedoms, and think that they have to lead the flock of sheep below them.

I smoke weed every few weeks now, and that kid just has personal problems with his parents and shit. and where I live, weed isnt a big deal even if you get caught. If you have less then 4 grams they will pretty much just take your bag and let you go. the people know that its not bad.

just that some kids fall in love with getting high, and do it too much. The effects wear off faster as more of the drug accumulates in your system, and some people move to dangerous drugs because they're uninteresting and don't know how to have fun without them.

The problem with illegality is that the drug isnt regulated, and therefore it is accessable to a younger audience, who are still lacking the responsibility and experiences in life to know when its time to not smoke. The older one gets, the more responsible one can be with their drug usage. I state this from experience and studies.

I would like to see the drug regulated to those over the age of 18.

and i've thought about this now, i think my dad has smoked weed before seeing as he was like a huge jock/player in highschool and he always talks about how his friends grew weed to get through college and stuff but, my mom NO WAY she  was a prefect in highschool one of those little loser kids that think they run the show and tattle on people and she cringes at the thought of drugs so ya...
