Replying to Search Suggestion

It occured to me that when you search for somthing, you can only search for that exact string of words, and the search doesnt separate the words,

for example if you want to search for the somthing like the "allright my buddies think they can give anyone a boner" thread, you have to type it in exactly like it is in the thread title otherwise it wont show up.  You cannot search for mulitple key words at once like, "buddies boner", because that is not exactly how the thread title string is.


Maybe the boner thread is a bad example, becaue i could just search one word "boner" and find it, but what if the specific thread you wanted to find was just titled somthing with bindings, skis, mountain, gaper, words that are commonly used.  First off you can only search for one word if it is just a keyword, and because you are only searching with one word, you can only see the first 50 topics

Another example is that a thread like this might have already been created.  I actually searched a bit for it.  But what am I supposed to search for, "searchbar"?  there are a bunch of threads with that in the title, yet if i use more then one word it has to be exactly what the thread is titled.

I also think we should be able to see more then the first 50 topics.


The reason i say this is these are pretty standard in search engines, and with all the updates on this site, i feel like the search engine is very, very outdated and basic.  With all the threads telling kids to use the searchbar, i think we should actually have a decent searchbar.  Whats the point in telling someone to searchbar how to do a 360, when all that comes up in the search bar is fifty 360 threads, saying "use the search bar noob" in them





In short i think the search bar needs an overhaul, as its very outdated
