What i'm going to do this summer...can anyone help

so me and some friends are going to try and make a shifter cart, or clutch go kart. its going be wide have wide tires (used for mudding and trail riding...stuff like that)

so do any of you have any frames, engines, tires, or parts, that we could have or buy for cheap.

if you have any suggestions or ideas, that'd be cool too.

we'd really like to actually make this happen.

first off whats your realistic budget?
Why do you want to mud it over making it fast and flying on the street and track? Its gonna be a lot harder to raise a shifter cart do to the frame and the lack of real suspension. Decently strong axles id imagine would be $$$ too.

ya ud have to with either car/truck or atv axles which will be costly if u dont get crap ones from a junkyard, u will definatly need suspension which will be a bitch and a half to do from scratch. if u search online u can get frame "kits" for racing ones, u just need a welder, tons of tubing, lawnmower engine, tranny, wheels, axles, and steering linkage

it will prolly look like an open caged go cart...cept we want to put in a bigger engine, like an old 3 wheeler engine...we're trying to find a frame...then we want to widen the axel to fit wider wheels
