So how hard would it be to fix this

i did do a search for this and it wasnt helping me enough so...
i got a pretty small core shot today in the backyard and was wondering how difficult it would really be to fix it or should i just take it to a shop. i have some knowledge of ptex and i tune my own skis whenever i can at my friends house since he has all the equipment for it so i know most of that type of stuff
just wondering if anyone could give me step by step directions on how to fix this: Click for larger image

from the pic it looks like there's a flap of the bottom sheet that's hanging over the core. if so, throw some epoxy in there but make sure you have a good clamp to hold the flap down until it dries. if it's a straight up core shot, just put epoxy in there and smooth it down. let it dry overnight and scrape it in the morning to smooth everything down

could i just cut off the flap and put in some ptex or just glue the flap down with the epxy and cut off anything that cant be glued down then put on ptex?
