How to organize a rail jam

I know its a long ways away but I am looking to put on a rail jam.  I think I can get a couple stores to throw in prizes.  I don't know jack about liability forms, But I got all the building and location and basic stuff covered.  Anyone what to throw down some advise that has had one before.

you gotta find snow and rails and you definately need sponsors to throw in prizes

how long would you say it takes to generally put together a rail jam ? next year me and my friends plan on throwing a rail jam for charity for our "senior project"  , were hoping to mabe get 2 or three companies to hop on and some local stores to throw in the prizes

get sponsers and hook ups people that know what there doing then your all good

get local stores, or some companies to help sponsor your prizes so that people will want to enter,
take care of liability forms, and make an entry fee if you want or have it free to enter probably get more people to enter,

get a dope set up and some dope music and should be good

i had to put one on for my class at UNH. a lot of work even divided among three other people. oh and youre going to spend a lot of cash... especially on creating a waiver form. insurance... thats another story, we were covered on that by the university. focus on that first, it could take a month or two to get it done, then worry about the easy stuff such as sponsors.

thanks for the tips , instead of collecting money , we were thinking of a donation of something like 5 to 10 cans mabe for an entry fee , were gonna start planning it in probably june .
