hv20 is your best bet. sick quality, around 600-700

emil, stop fucking double posting you whore.

anyways, you're sort of limited due to your price and size.  Check out the panasonic gs-320 or 500.  The 320 meets your size and price limitations better.  Hv20 isn't a bad choice either.  I have a panasonic gs500 and I love it, though I don't carry it in a pocket

Hmmm.  I have the gs320 and i love it.  It's kinda big for a pocket but idk......the hv10 is small I think and it is high def like the hv20 (the hv10 came before the hv20).  Research those two cameras.

I don' used a backpack.  I ride at a area that has the park on a tow rope.  I work there so I put it behind the desk when i'm not using it.  I just go get it when I feel like filming.  It's pretty small though.
