It just wasn't that cool really. 

It'd be sick if we could come up with some sort of escrow system... so like you buy something from another member, but you send your money to NS.   The money only gets released when the gear is confirmed to get there. 

Ideas for the future...

A paintball site that I often go to has mods scattered all over north America. These mods have agreed to be a middle man for any transaction that goes on in this site. Very cool, incredibly legit and I have never heard of anyone getting ripped off so far.

The mods we have on this site are legit. Do you not agree? I don't think the higher ups would choose someone they thought was shady.

yeah but you have to remember the Yeti incident.


i like what bishop said and have the guys at NS be the middle men, that way you wouldn't have to worry about being ripped off. maybe have like that little tax thing like paypal does so they could get a little extra $$?

I still think we need to do something like this. Im tired of people saying that high bid is "X", then I say "X+5", but then they reply less than a minute later saying "high offer is now X+10"

We need a site that will keep track of everyone's bids, and the bids are set in stone so you cant back out of your offer. It is unfair to buyers that actually want the product, and sellers that have their buyers back out of the deal.

and with the kickbacks etc from being a mod involved in deals, you'd be able to afford your own audi!

Seriously now, the idea of having a mod middle person in a deal makes perfect sense. It would of course add more work to the mods duties which would take their focus away from their lavish mansions filled with luxurious items for awhile longer, but it would make sell/trade a more secure way of doing things.
