I just found my brother's old skis (rossignol non-parabolic racing skis from like '97) and he has what look like fairly nice salomon 912ti bindings on them.
being his brother, im totally gonna jack those bindings.
just wondering if they are usable, considering they are almost 10 years old (they seem to be in good condition) and if so, how they perform. thanks

depends. older bindings dont meet safety release standards of those starting around 98 or so i think, take em to a ski shop and have em checked out.

The older salomon bindings are banger! Solid clamps for sure, but can you post a few pics of them so we can see what were dealing with?

those bindings are definately still good. I'm not sure if this applies to salomon bindings but a shop guy once told me that with the look pivot bindings you can use them until they literally explode no need to replace them before that

Those are prime. Back in the day when Salomon made bomber bindings- like those Equipe Series bindings. All metal.

You can actually just pull those off of the lifters and use them non-lifted.... makes it better for the park

If you weigh any decent amount be careful, i have broken the heel plate twice on 912's. They fixed this for the sth and the 916/920 and installed a metal lug instead of plastic/.
