Rossi Axial 140, pivot heel?

Okay so there on my old racer ish skis, and i have crap Demo salomon 810 Ti's in my Armada arvs right now. I was wondering if the rossi's were a solid binding?, because i dont really like my 810's so far.
Is the realease good on the Pivot heels? how are they compared to the FKS, etc.
I'm thinking about possibly putting the rossis, and getting it remounted (plus the 810's are like 5cm back from center). Anyone know if its easy to bend the brakes?
thanks

ive had 810's then i had px12 and now i have axial 120's and the 120's are by fair my favorite (same as the 140 just with a din of 12) binding they have a small hole pattern which lets your ski flex more
sry i cant tell you about the fks i have no experiance with them
but all i can says is the axials never pre realease which i found was a big problem with my 810s and i think but im not sure i think they were lighter then my px12 ti's

Pivots release noticably smoother than FKS, but they also have a little more slop in the heel. For park I don't see much need for a high-DIN race binding unless you really need one, so the axials would be a solid choice for sure. I'd do it up.

sweet good information.
yeah i noticed the slop in the heel too, i can twist it pretty easily,
will this affect my riding? and will they pop off if you throw a spin hard?
and the toe pieces, do they have a side ways release?
haha sorry im used to my 810's and the whole toe piece twists

all the slop in the heel really does is make thme a little harder to step into like you gotta stomp in a bit i have a pair of p10 that have probably like over 100 days on them and they work fine other then the very sloppty heels

so i just bent my bindings, and now they will probally fit. BUT there pretty bent, i think originally it was like 74mm or so, and my arv's are 90mm. and even if they pull up they still stick out, will it effect a lot?

Agreed. I spilled on some switch 3's today and it takes a fair tumble to make the heel on FKS bindings pivot out, but jeez, it really saves the knees and ankles.

really? like everytime i eat shit the heel pivots and i look at it and think that was nice.
the first generation axial 140's are a solid binding. The toe has side and vertical release. They pre-release less than 810's and release more consistently. Personally i love how pivots release. The only thing is after a fair amount of skiing you get slop in the heel. Its nothing that has ever bothered me or really affected my riding.

bend them in or up.
I hope your dad knows what hes doing. Mounting bindings is something that should be left to certified shop techs.

well we/ he can do all the measurements with like a ruler and a, i forgot what it was called (another tool) and we have a drill, i dont see the difference if you can do everything right
he did them for mounting my last pair of skis (normal ones)

theres a limited number of people id trust doing it that way. if u dont get the hole depth right ull either rip them out of the ski or dimple the base. id shell out the money and get it done right.
and just bend the brakes up a bitch, they wont catch
