nope, only possible downside is it could lower battery life if you're not plugged in

otherwise electronics like cold

you will be fine, a little short on battery life, but that is it.

Believe it or not a lithium ion battery will last longer at 0 degrees C than it will at room temperature.

not sure exactly, but i've left my computer in my car lots of times when its hella cold and it dies after being unplugged for 3 minutes... literally.  Its almost three years old so this might be why too.  anyways, just try to keep it at an ok temp.  and dotn turn it on when its still really cold
